Sub-processors
Last updated: August 7, 2026
EventCloud uses a small number of service providers to run the platform. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement with confidentiality, security and onward-transfer obligations.
Current sub-processors
| Provider category | Purpose | Processing location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud hosting & application platform | Running the website, servers and background jobs | United States |
| Managed Postgres database & file storage | Storing accounts, boards, listings, photos and documents | United States |
| Transactional email delivery | Account emails, invitations, RSVPs, notifications | United States / EU |
| Payments & payouts | Card processing, vendor payouts, subscriptions, cash funds | United States / EU |
| AI model providers | AI Planner and Concierge responses | United States |
| Error monitoring & logging | Diagnosing faults and abuse | United States |
| Product analytics (optional) | Aggregate usage measurement, only where you consent | United States / EU |
For the named entities, their legal addresses and current certifications, email legal@myeventcloud.com. We provide the named list to customers under a data-processing agreement.
International transfers
Where personal data of people in the UK, EEA or Switzerland is transferred outside those areas, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK Addendum, and on the transfer safeguards our providers maintain.
Changes
We give at least 30 days' notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor that handles customer personal data. To be notified, email legal@myeventcloud.com and ask to join the sub-processor notice list. Customers with a DPA in place may object on reasonable data-protection grounds within that window.
