Copyright & DMCA Policy

Event photography is the most commonly misused content on any marketplace. We take infringement notices seriously and act quickly.
Reporting infringement
Send a written notice to legal@myeventcloud.com containing all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL on EventCloud where the material appears, so we can find it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
An incomplete notice may delay action. Knowingly making a false claim can expose you to liability for damages and costs.
What we do on receipt
We remove or disable access to the material expeditiously, notify the person who posted it, and pass on your notice. We keep a record of every notice received.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any district in which we may be found).
We forward valid counter-notices to the complainant. Unless they file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices are terminated. Two upheld notices trigger a warning; a third results in removal of the listing and the account.
Trademarks
To report misuse of a trademark, including a business name or logo used in a listing, email legal@myeventcloud.com with your registration details, the mark, the goods or services covered, and the URL complained of.
A note for vendors
If a photographer shot your work, you generally need their licence to publish it commercially — being in the photo is not enough. Get it in writing before uploading, and credit them where the licence requires it.
