Community Guidelines

A marketplace only works when both sides can trust it. These are the standards we hold everyone to, and how we enforce them.
Treat people professionally
No harassment, threats, discrimination, slurs, or abuse based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital or family status. Vendors may decline work for capacity, fit or budget reasons — never on a protected characteristic.
Be honest in your listing
- Show only work you performed. Stock imagery must be labelled as such.
- Do not imply awards, certifications, insurance or affiliations you do not hold.
- Quote prices you will honour. Disclose travel, overtime and service charges up front.
- Keep availability and contact details current.
Keep reviews real
Reviews come only from planners with a confirmed booking, must describe first-hand experience, and must not be bought, traded, incentivised or written about yourself or a competitor. Responses to reviews must stay factual and must never disclose private client information.
Message with purpose
Inquiries should be about a real event. No mass unsolicited pitching, no recruiting, no chain messages, no links to malware or to competing marketplaces. Rate limits apply to inquiry sending and are enforced automatically.
Respect other people's content
Only upload photos, video and text you own or are licensed to use. Credit photographers when required. Do not post identifiable people without their consent, and never post images of minors from a private event publicly.
Keep private things private
Guest lists, dietary notes, home addresses and payment details are confidential. Do not repost a client's event details, photos or documents without written permission.
How we enforce
- A warning and a chance to correct, for a first minor breach.
- Content removal, badge removal, or loss of search placement.
- Temporary suspension of messaging or of the listing.
- Permanent removal and, where money is involved, withholding of funds and referral to authorities.
Fraud, threats of violence, sexual content involving minors, and payment scams skip straight to permanent removal.
Reporting and appeals
Report a listing, review or message from the item itself, or write to support@myeventcloud.com. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days. To appeal a decision, reply to the enforcement notice within 30 days with any evidence; a different reviewer will look at it.
