Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Events are for everyone, and so is the software used to plan them. This statement describes where we are, honestly.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the EventCloud marketplace, dashboards, published event websites and invitation emails.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmarks and a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard operation, visible focus states and skip-to-content behaviour.
- Color contrast checked against AA thresholds; color never used as the sole signal.
- Labelled form fields, inline error messages tied to their inputs, and status messages announced to assistive technology.
- Text that resizes to 200% without loss of function, and layouts that reflow on small screens.
- Respect for the reduce-motion system setting on animated sections.
Known limitations
- Alternative text on photos uploaded by vendors and hosts is supplied by them and may be missing or unhelpful. We prompt for it but cannot guarantee it.
- Some data-dense tables (analytics, tracking grids) require horizontal scrolling on narrow screens.
- Third-party embeds, including maps and the card payment form, follow their providers' accessibility support.
- Older event websites created before this statement may not meet every criterion.
Assessment
We assess accessibility through automated checks in our build process and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing on primary flows: signing up, searching, sending an inquiry, booking, paying, and submitting an RSVP. We have not commissioned a third-party audit; this is a self-assessment.
Feedback and help
If any part of EventCloud is difficult to use, email support@myeventcloud.com with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use. We aim to respond within 3 business days and will offer an alternative way to complete the task while we fix the underlying issue.
