AI Disclosure & Acceptable Use

When you use the AI Planner, it is given the details of the board you opened it from: event type, date, location, guest count, budget and category allocations, your to-dos, the vendors you have shortlisted or contacted, and the conversation you are having with it. It does not see other users' boards, your payment details, or your password.

It answers questions, drafts messages, builds timelines and suggests next steps. It can propose actions inside EventCloud — such as searching vendors or drafting an email — but it does not send messages, spend money, sign anything or make bookings on your behalf. Every outbound action needs your explicit confirmation.

AI output is generated text, not professional advice. It can be incomplete, out of date, or confidently incorrect about prices, availability, timings, regulations, contracts, insurance or tax. Check anything that matters, and never treat AI output as legal, financial or safety advice. You remain responsible for what you send and what you agree to.

The AI recommends vendors and venues listed on EventCloud, ranked by fit with your brief. Paid placement never overrides an explicit requirement you set, and sponsored results are labelled where they appear. The AI will not recommend businesses outside the platform.

Prompts and the board context described above are sent to third-party model providers under contracts that prohibit using your content to train their general models. Conversations are stored on your board so you can return to them, and you can delete them. Do not paste payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information or passwords into a chat.

• Do not use AI features to generate spam, harassment, deceptive reviews or impersonation.
• Do not attempt to extract system prompts, other users' data, or to bypass safety limits.
• Do not resell or redistribute access to the AI features.
• Automated or scripted use beyond normal interactive use is not permitted.

AI features are part of a paid subscription and are subject to fair-use limits to keep the service responsive. Model providers change; we may substitute an equivalent or better model without notice. Features may be temporarily unavailable during provider outages, and a subscription does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

If you would rather not use AI at all, every task it performs can be done manually in the app. Nothing on EventCloud requires you to use an AI feature.
