Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to planners, vendors, and visitors to our website and apps.
What we collect
Information you give us when you create an account or use the service: name, email, phone, profile details, event details, messages, photos, payment information, and reviews.
Information collected automatically: device, browser, IP address, page activity, and approximate location.
Information from third parties: payment processors, identity verification providers, and social sign-in providers when you choose to use them.
How we use it
- To operate and improve the service.
- To match planners with vendors and facilitate bookings.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To send transactional messages (receipts, confirmations, password resets).
- To send product updates and marketing — only with your consent where required.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We rely on the following bases: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (e.g., security, product improvement), your consent (e.g., marketing emails), and legal obligations.

Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email legal@myeventcloud.com. We respond within 30 days.

Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
International transfers
EventCloud operates globally. Where we transfer data outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
