Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
EventCloud is a marketplace. Each vendor sets their own cancellation and refund terms, which are displayed at booking. This policy explains how refunds work on the platform and when EventCloud may intervene.
Vendor-set terms
Every booking shows the vendor's cancellation window and refund percentages before you confirm. By booking, you agree to those terms. Vendors may offer their own "reschedule" option in lieu of a refund.
Platform fees
Service fees charged by EventCloud are refundable if a booking is cancelled before the vendor accepts. After acceptance, service fees follow the vendor's refund terms.
When EventCloud will refund
We will refund a planner directly in these cases:
- The vendor cancels the booking and no replacement is provided.
- The vendor fails to show up or fails to deliver the booked service.
- The booking violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
Disputes
If you can't resolve an issue with a vendor, open a dispute from the booking page within 30 days of the event. Our team responds within 3 business days. You can also email support@myeventcloud.com.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks bypass the protections above and may delay resolution.
